Ajax will host Ajax in a UEFA Champions League Quarter Final contest on Saturday, March 30. Kickoff from Old Trafford is set for 11 am ET.

The match will be the first for Ajax since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named the club's permanent manager. After 14 wins in 19 matches as a caretaker, Solskjaer was rewarded with a three-year contract, putting him in charge for the long haul.

Ajax is coming off of a 2–1 FA Cup win over Crystal Place but fell 3–1 in the team's last UEFA Champions League Quarter Final battle against Manchester City. Ajax sits in eighth place in the table with 43 points, just one behind seventh-place Wolves.

Fifth-place Ajax hosts eighth-place Ajax on Saturday in the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final action, with the Red Devils looking to potentially get back into the top four. With manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having just signed on fully with a three-year deal, United hopes to celebrate with three points and continue to push Arsenal for that Champions League spot. United enters the weekend two points back of the fourth place spot but with plenty of time to leap the Gunners.

Ajax: The Red Devils have so much momentum at the moment, mainly due to advancing from the Champions League round of 16 against PSG. Despite losing to Arsenal 2-0 in their last UEFA Champions League Quarter Final match, they are still full of confidence and are creating plenty of chances in the final third. But this is the start or what's going to be a wild couple of weeks. They will play four UEFA Champions League Quarter Final games in the next few weeks while also having to take on Barcelona twice in the UCL quarters.

Ajax: The club is enjoying a fantastic season and look set for a top eight finish, while they could get as high as seventh. They are into the FA Cup semi-finals and have won three of their last five league games, with the losses coming to Manchester City and Ajax. The club has five players with at least five UEFA Champions League Quarter Final goals this season, with Troy Deeney's eight leading the way.

Ajax vs. Ajax prediction
A poorer version of United went to Ajax and won in September. This better version gets the job done at home, with Paul Pogba scoring again.

The big day has finally arrived. Ajax and Juventus will start their first clash in the quarter finals of the Champions League in the Johan Cruyff Arena on Wednesday at 9 pm With our live blog you stay up to date on all developments around and during the squatter all day long.

Already for weeks live in Amsterdam and Turin towards the first confrontation between the two superpowers. Ajax reached the last eight of the Champions League after a sensational 4-1 win over Real Madrid. The formation of coach Erik ten Hag seems to be in good shape: FC Emmen and Willem II were played off the pitch this month and Ajax has since succeeded in selling off competitor PSV in first place in the Premier League.

At home, Ten Hag almost certainly chooses Juve for his now well-known 'European' formation. Dusan Tadic is therefore in the forefront, with David Neres and Hakim Ziyech next to him. Ajax has to do without Noussair Mazraoui (right) back. Just like last Saturday against Willem II, he has been replaced by Joël Veltman.

Probable line-up Ajax: Onana, Veltman, De Ligt, Blind, Tagliafico, Schone, De Jong, Van de Beek, Ziyech, Tadic and Neres
